A little about Suzanne
Welcome! I'm Suzanne and I'm so happy you're here.
While growing up in North Vancouver, B.C., Canada, I enjoyed a childhood spent outdoors, exploring and discovering. We were always outside doing something like hiking, sailing, fishing, gardening, building forts in the woods. I was young when I realized I had a gift for teaching others. At the end of high school I found a full-time job in the insurance industry, without giving it any thought, to pay my rent and bills.
Years passed and I rose through the ranks, eventually becoming an office manager. I also married and had two beautiful daughters, so my plate was full. In the blink of an eye, my daughters were grown, there was family illness, divorce, a downsize from a house to a condo. It was a time of great change and I felt lost.
I'd been restless for a few years and decided it was time to do some work on myself to become the best woman I could be. I attended a Relationship with Money for Women workshop in early 2018 and it changed my life. The workshop taught me that relationships with money are not only about numbers; on the contrary, these relationships are complex and have everything to do with the psychology of money and each individual as a whole person. The brilliant transformation I experienced in my own life was something I wanted to share with other women but I had no idea how to do that. I embraced my transformation so fully and completely that the workshop leader became my mentor in 2019 and she continues to guide me and challenge me, when needed, to this day!
I understood: “I want to help women empower themselves to have a great relationship with money, but it needs to have that holistic aspect so the woman as a whole is looked after. How do I do that?” My mentor pointed me to a money coaching academy that included my must-have spiritual aspect. I enrolled right away and became a certified Sacred Money Archetypes coach. A year later I earned my second certification, Money Breakthrough Business Coach for Women Entrepreneurs. I also became a licensed Life Insurance Agent in 2021, allowing me to show women how life insurance and investments are integral parts of a sound, empowered financial plan for peace of mind.
After a lot of thought, weighing the risks, sitting on the fence and sleepless nights, I resigned from my career in general insurance to start my own business, Suzanne Richardson Holistic Money Coaching. My passion is helping women live their best lives, not only financially but in all aspects of life, with their own authentic core values and true identity. I am thrilled to be a holistic money coach and life insurance agent and look forward to exploring and discovering what lies ahead!
